What we collect

• Contact and quote forms: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, suburb or area, the service you are interested in, and anything you write in your message.
• Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
• WhatsApp and phone: if you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email, we receive the details you share with us.
• Technical information: like most websites, our server and security tools record your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site working and protect it from attacks.
• Cookies: small files stored by your browser. See "Cookies" below.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
• To provide and manage the services you ask us for.
• To send you updates if you subscribed to our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To keep our website secure and working properly.
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We only collect what we need for these purposes. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Your information is only seen by Plambo Projects staff who need it to help you. We use trusted service providers, such as our website hosting company and email provider, who store information on our behalf and must keep it secure. We may also share information when the law requires it, for example with the South African Police Service or PSIRA.

Our website uses cookies that are needed for the site to work, and may use optional cookies, for example to understand how visitors use the site. We keep enquiry and quote information for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, for the duration of our service agreement and any period required by law. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under POPIA you have the right to:

• ask what personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct or delete your information;
• object to us using your information, including for marketing;
• withdraw your consent at any time; and
• lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
